The Rachel Waters Memorial Cup 2014

Loughor v Gorseinon held it’s 6th year of “The Rachel Waters Memorial Cup” at Loughor Rugby Club, the cup was won once again by Loughor. A big thank you to the committees/members of both clubs  for there continued support, Loughor & Gorseinon very kindly donated £300.00 to Rachel’s  fund supporting local charities we wish to thank all concerned at both Loughor and Gorseinon for this very kind gesture.Bucket’s on the bar raised a further £25.00 total £325.. A Massive big thank you to Kevin Lewis and Ken Fox  all the staff and once again to all who very kindly supported this event.

A big thank you to the committees/members of both clubs  for there continued support, Loughor very kindly donated £300.00 to Rachel’s new fund supporting local charities we wish to thank all concerned at both Loughor and Gorseinon for this very kind gesture.Bucket’s on the bar raised a further £144.88 plus a £10.00 donation from David & Anita from Llys y coed total £454.88. A Massive big thank you to all the boys from MOOSE who were fantastic and gave up their time for free, A big thank you to Elaine and Kevin and all the staff and once again to all who very kindly supported this event.

                                                     “lifesaving2The Rachel Waters Award For Commitment” was kindly suggested by Llanelli Lifesaving Club, Rachel was an active member of the club.The award is ongoing and will be presented yearly to the member who the club believes has shown the most commitment.

The first winner of this award is Ross Uccheddu and was presented with the Plaque by Tom Waters
