Joseph Yeandle

Joseph has been diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastomia in March 2021 he is only 3 years old it is an aggressive childhood cancer that has only a 40-50% chance of survival. Joseph’s Aunt is fundraising and one is a marathon and is being run by Beverley Owen-Jones, Vic & Sophie.

We are happy to donate £100.00 for the event Good Luck !!

Rachel’s Rugby Dinner In aid of Motor Neurone Disease

What a fantastic night had by all, special thanks to Mr Robert Jones ” Absolutely Fantastic”, A very big thank you to Ian Murray for organizing the evening once again and Les Davies for all his help and support  and everyone who helped out. A warm welcome to Anita Jenkins on behalf of Motor Neurone.   Our fantastic compare Ryan Murray a brilliant job well done once again we wouldn’t do it without you, many thanks to the Towers Hotel food and service was superb,thanks to the staff of the club ,  Raven(Emma Duffy) our entertainment for the evening you were great everyone enjoyed. A very special thank you to Sarah Hall, Scott Burgess and Charlotte Francis  from HSBC and Jayne Pugh from Lloyds bank and who supported us very kindly with pound for pound match it is very much appreciated, Richard Hill and all at Tredz Bikes for their very kind and continued support once again, Andy and Angela for the Mayfair Hotel break and everyone who very kindly donated auction and raffle prizes, But most of all everyone who came and supported a very worthy cause once again we thank you.  We raised  £6000.00

Donation for Headstone for Chloe Nicole Jones

Chloe Nicole jones was an amazing young lady that brightened up everyone’s life’s, she always had a smile on her face always let out a giggle when you copied her…. chloe ws blind suffered from numerous conditions such as epilepsy, curvature of the spine, poor growth but never in all her life did she let anything stop her smiling…. she was such an inspirational little doll you wouldn’t believe. She used to communicate by tapping her belt of the wheel chair… tapping the arm rest of her chair. Shouting words like hiya… mamma… Where’s sue, bock bock when she was thirsty.. one thing chloe loved was noise especially music… she touch the lives of everyone that came in to.contact with her including Micheal Sheen who she played alongside in the passion play back few years ago. God took an amazing little girl to become an angel she already was to loads…. especially her family.

We donated £150.00 Tom’s band The Mids very kindly gave up their time for free and put on a gig and raised a further. £445.00

An Evening With Rugby Legend Steve Fenwick in aid of Alzheimer’s Society 7th March 2014

What a fantastic night had by all, special thanks to Mr Steve Fenwick ” Absolutely Superb”, A very big thank you to Ian Murray for organizing the evening once again and Les Davies for all his help and support  and everyone who helped out. A very special thank you to Sam Wilde and Stephanie Cattroll  from HSBC bank who once again supported us very kindly with pound for pound match it is very much appreciated,everyone who very kindly donated raffle prizes, But most of all everyone who came and supported a very worthy cause once again we thank you. The Rachel Waters Memorial Cup 2013

Loughor v Gorseinon held it’s 5th year of “The Rachel Waters Memorial Cup” at Loughor Rugby Club, the cup was won once again by Loughor. A big thank you to the committees/members of both clubs  for there continued support, Loughor very kindly donated £300.00 to Rachel’s new fund supporting local charities we wish to thank all concerned at both Loughor and Gorseinon for this very kind gesture.Bucket’s on the bar raised a further £144.88 plus a £10.00 donation from David & Anita from Llys y coed total £454.88. A Massive big thank you to all the boys from MOOSE who were fantastic and gave up their time for free, A big thank you to Elaine and Kevin and all the staff and once again to all who very kindly supported this event.

 

Ward M Children’s Ward Morriston Hospital

Ward M Childrens Ward 2Ward M Childrens Ward 5Ward M Childrens Ward 4We have donated Puppets to the value of £200.00 to Ward M Childrens Ward in Morriston Hospital, the puppets will be used for therapeutic play across the childrens wards. Encouraging the children to communicate and distract them from treatments and procedures,they welcome them to the ward and help prepare them for Theatre and ensure that they are happy during their stay.

A big thank you to Lisa Morgan and colleagues on the ward who are doing a fantastic job.
